DO I HAVE TO PLAY IN A NYC BCAPL LEAGUE TO QUALIFY IN THIS EVENT?
No. This is not a BCAPL/USAPL sanctioned event.
DOES THE SCOTCH DOUBLES TEAM NEED TO BE BOY/GIRL?
No. Any two players can play together. boy/boy, boy/girl, girl/girl.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT DIVISION MY PARTNER AND I QUALIFY FOR?
Of the two partners, the player with the highest handicap determines the division the team qualifies for. For example, if a B+ and a C player want to play together, they only qualify for the ADVANCED division or higher. They would not be allowed to play in the Open or Leisure.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO PAY MY ENTRY FEE?
All entry forms and payments must be received by July 26th 2019 to avoid late fees. All entries received after July 26th 2019 must include a non-refundable $10 late fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY ENTRY FEE?
Refund requests must be emailed to email@example.com & received by July 26th 2019. All refunds will be charged a $20 handing fee. All refunds will be processed AFTER Aug 10th 2019. Late fees will not be refunded. No exceptions.
WILL YOU TAKE ENTRIES THE DAY OF THE EVENT IF SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE?
Only in the Masters division. If spots are available and you’d like to play, we will accept entries for the Masters division on site up to 1 hours prior to the start of the event. Entries paid on site will include the $10 late fee.
WHY IS THERE A $35 Tournament FEE?
This fee is used to cover all costs of the tournament including staff, advertising, promotions, live-stream, fees, etc.
CAN I AVOID THE PAYPAL FEE BY PAYING CASH?
Yes. Players that pay cash must ensure the payment is delivered to Tony or Gail Robles AND include the Entry Form completed and signed.
IS THIS A SINGLE OR DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT?
WILL THIS BE AN ANNUAL EVENT?
Yes, we intend for this to be an annual event with future events to include different games and formats.
